July 20 will be the first day of Eid Al Adha

MUSCAT – The main committee for moon sighting met on the evening of Saturday 29th Dhu’l-Qi’dah 1442 AH (July 10, 2021), under the auspices of Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Salmi, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

The committee confirmed the sighting of the crescent of month Dhul Hijjah 1442 AH and announced that, Sunday (July 11,) will mark the beginning of Dhul Hijjah 1442 AH, and Tuesday (July 20, 2021)  – 10th Dhul Hijjah 1442 will mark the beginning of blessed Eid al Adha.
