Medical conference reviews developments in emergency medicine

MUSCAT — The 4th edition of an emergency medicine conference, organized by Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, kicked off today. The two-day conference aims at reviewing the latest developments in emergency medicine (with emphasis on emergency diseases) and enhancing the culture of research in the field of emergency medicine.


The event constitutes a unique opportunity to elaborate on the latest technologies and innovations in the field of urgent healthcare. It demonstrates the extent to which emergency medicine played a vital role in serving society over the past few years.


Nearly 200 doctors and nurses from Oman and abroad are taking part in the conference, which seeks to enhance regional cooperation in the field of emergency medicine.
