MUSCAT – Two top Indian World cup and Olympic hockey umpires – Javed Sheikh and Raghu Prasad, who are currently in Oman under the aegis of Oman Hockey Association for the His Majesty Cup, visited the SAS NAQVI Sports Olympics and Hockey Museum at Rex Road Ruwi Muscat.
Both the guest umpires were felicitated by SAS Naqvi, former Technical Advisor Oman Olympic Committee and National Hockey Coach of India and Oman, also the founder of the Museum. “Both Javed Sheikh and Raghu Prasad are most talented sports personalities from India, who, with their sheer hard work and dedication have reached the glorious heights in Hockey. I am proud to felicitate them and wish them the best for their endeavours to bring laurels to India and Oman” complimented SAS Naqvi.
The umpires were accompanied by Abdul Rehman Al Raisi, former International Umpire and Oman National Hockey Coach and Khaleel Al Balushi International Umpire to the Museum. A few glimpses
