MUSCAT – Due to the expected heavy thundershowers associated with downdraft, fresh winds and hail during tomorrow morning (Thursday, 29 February 2024) over the governorates of North Al Batinah, A’Dhahirah and Al Buraimi and gradually extending towards South Al Batinah, Muscat, A’Dakhiliyah, North A’Sharqiyah, and South A’Sharqiyah governorates at afternoon, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) advices all to take precaution during thundershowers, avoid crossing wadis (flash flood) and low laying areas and avoid venturing into the sea during alert period.
The precipitation predicted to be ranging from 20 mm to 50 mm which may cause flash flood.
