Arab Parliament confers “Leader’s Order” on HM The Sultan for his efforts in serving Arab cause

MUSCAT – At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Special Representative of His Majesty the Sultan, received the “Leader’s Order” conferred on His Majesty the Sultan by the Arab Parliament.

The medal is the loftiest honour award conferred on Arab leaders by the Parliament.

The medal was conferred on His Majesty the Sultan in appreciation and gratitude for his outstanding efforts in serving issues of concern to the Arab nation and his continuous endeavours in support for the joint Arab action. The conferment of the Arab medal took place when HH Sayyid Asaad received Adel Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, and his accompanying delegation in Muscat.

The conferment ceremony was attended by Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council, the Secretary-General and Adviser at HH Sayyid Asaad’s Office and some members of the Arab Parliament.
