MUSCAT – As many as 58 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in Oman during the past 24 hours, and no new Covid-19-related death cases were registered. This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 303,163 in the Sultanate.
The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 4089, the Ministry of Health said. The Ministry added that 98 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 293,343 recoveries.
The Ministry also pointed out that 14 cases were hospitalised over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalised Covid-19-infected patients stands at 66 of them 28 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
