MUSCAT – The Youth Centre implemented a number of summer programmes in various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. The programmes were meant to develop the skills, talents and capabilities of young people.
The programmes were diversified in terms of content and they covered technical, entrepreneurial, cultural and entertainment areas. They were distributed across the governorates in a manner that commensurate with the resources and the number of participants.
The programmes were distributed in the governorates as follows: 14 in Muscat Governorate, 6 in A’Dakhiliyah, 3 in Al Buraimi Governorate, 5 in A’Dhahirah Governorate, 3 in North A’Sharqiyah, 12 in South A’Sharqiyah, 8 in Al Wusta, 6 in Musandam, 9 in North Al Batinah, 3 in South Al Batinah, 14 in Dhofar.
The implementation of the programmes reflected the keenness of the Youth Centre to integrate the efforts of government and private establishments in supporting young people.
