MUSCAT – The Sultanate of Oman will take part in the first edition of Gulf Youth Games (GYG) scheduled to be held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 16 April 16 to May 2, 2024.
During a press briefing held today, Oman Olympic Committee said that 133 athletes will represent Oman at the event. The mission will take part in 14 games, which are sailing, football, golf, taekwondo, water sports, athletics, handball, volleyball, basketball, chess, fencing, table tennis, billiards, snooker and equestrian sports.
Oman will also be represented in the GYG tournament by 11 referees.
