KUALA LUMPUR – Oman cricket team secured a significant victory over their Singaporean counterparts by a margin of 131 runs, in their opening fixture of Group II of the 2026 Men’s Asia Cup (50-over format), held at the Bayuemas Oval in Malaysia.
With this win, the national team claimed its first two points of the tournament, strengthening its prospects of competing for a qualification berth to the 2027 Asia Cup.
The national team is scheduled to play its next match against Qatar on Wednesday in Bandar Penawar, Malaysia, before facing Kuwait on 5 September and the United Arab Emirates on 8 September in the same group-stage fixtures.
