MUSCAT – Lulu Oman has partnered with Sadia Chicken for a good cause, donating over RO 10,000 to Dar Al Atta’a association to make a difference in the lives of the underprivileged.
A cheque of RO 10,271 was handed over by Ananth A V, Director —Oman, Sri Lanka and India of LuLu Group, and Shabeer K.A, the Regional Director of Lulu Oman, to Dr Shamsa Al Harthi, Director General of Dar Al Atta’a Association. The amount will be given to eligible families registered with Dar Al Atta’a Association.
As part of the initiative held during the Holy Month of Ramadan, an amount of RO 0.100 was passed on to Dar Al Atta’a on every purchase of Sadia products at Lulu.
Director General of Dar Al Atta’a expressed her thanks and gratitude to Sadia for their partnership with Dar Al Atta’a. She said that the initiative came during the month of Ramadan, which is an opportunity for serving the society. “The initiative’s revenue generation is for the needy families registered with Dar Al Atta’a,” she added.
Commenting on the charity event, Ananth stated, “Our strategic intent is to serve the community we are part of by supporting local organizations and charities. We appreciate Sadia Chicken for their partnership with us and helping us do our fair bit for the society. We understand the needs of our clients and communities and will do everything to help make their lives better.
Didier Gabriel, General Manager of BRF (Sadia chicken) in Oman, said that the company has always been proud of maintaining their partnership with Dar Al Atta’a and has worked with all partners on provision of innovative and sustainable solutions to ensure the success of such charity initiative, during the month of Ramadan.
As a key promoter of social initiatives, Lulu has initiated several projects and contributions and has also joined hands with various firms to support the community towards a better tomorrow.
