RAMALLAH – The Palestinian Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission (CWRC) said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) and the colonisers committed 1,127 violations against the Palestinian people, their land and their sanctities, only during the month of May 2024.
The Head of CWRC Mu’ayyad Shaa’ban explained in the commission’s monthly report on violations of the occupation and measures of colonial expansion, that IOF carried out 906 attacks, while the colonists carried out 221 attacks.
The occupying entity’s violations are not limited to carrying waves of terrorist attacks against Palestinians in all their places of residence, but also reinforces them with decisions and legislation that give the colonists more power to seize Palestinians’ lands and impose new realties, Shaa’ban explained.
He pointed out that most of the colonists’ attacks took place in Nablus Governorate, reaching a total of 75 attacks, while 27 attacks occurred in Bethlehem Governorate and 25 attacks took place in each of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate and Al-Khalil (Hebron).
The report indicated that the occupation authorities carried out 27 demolition operations, affecting 66 facilities, including 35 inhabited homes, five uninhabited, and 15 agricultural facilities and others, noting that most of these demolitions took place in the governorates of Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem), Al-Khalil and Bethlehem. In the same month, the occupation authorities issued a total of 29 demolitions notices for Palestinian facilities, most of which in the governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, Ariha, Al-Aghwar and Al-Khalil.
