Information Ministry organises vaccination campaign for media employees in Oman

MUSCAT – The Ministry of Information, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, organized today a vaccination campaign to administer the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine for the Ministry’s employees, as well as staff working at the private media institutions.

The digital studios complex of the Ministry was set for this campaign. This campaign coincides with the vaccination program set for the employees of the State’s administrative apparatus.

The Ministry of Information is keen on the safety and health of its employees and those who work in various media institutions in the Sultanate in appreciation for their great efforts in covering all daily events.

Lamis Hamad al Kiyumi, head of the mobile team to vaccinate employees of the State’s administrative apparatus affirmed that the team started the campaign on 7 June, as around 9,000 employees have been vaccinated so far in 8 government institutions. She indicated that the vaccination campaign at the Ministry of Information today witnessed a great turnout, noting that the target number is up to 1100 employees.
