Badr Al Samaa completes COVID-19 vaccination drive at National Museum

MUSCAT – Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals accomplished the largest COVID-19 vaccination centre in the private healthcare sector of Oman at The National Museum, Muscat, Oman. In this two month’s vaccination drive Badr Al Samaa administered thousand of doses of Pfizer vaccine to the employees of more than 450 companies and corporate.

The vaccination drive at The National Museum came to an end with a closing ceremony attended by His Excellency Jamal Al-Moosawi, Secretary General, The National Museum, Dr Mazin Bin Jawad Al-Khabouri, Director General – DGPHE, the Ministry of Health, Executive Directors of Badr Al Samaa Moiden Bilal and Firasath Hassan, CEO, Sameer PT, COO, Jacob Oommen, CMO, K O Devassy and other top officials. Mementos were presented to His Excellency Jamal Al-Moosawi and Dr Mazin Bin Jawad Al-Khabouri as token of appreciation by Moiden Bilal and Firasath Hassan, executive directors of Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals.

In his welcome address, Sameer PT said it was satisfactory to see how, with the support of The National Museum; Badr Al Samaa conducted this high volume vaccination drive in a smooth manner by ensuring all COVID-19 protocols. He said Badr Al Samaa will continue collaborating with the Ministry of Health (MoH) in all their initiatives.

Dr Mazin Bin Jawad Al-Khabouri on this occasion expressed gratitude to Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals and The National Museum for conducting largest vaccination drive in private healthcare sector of Oman. He said this drive has helped the Ministry of Health to cover a larger population within short span of time and smoothly. He said MoH is looking forward to collaborate with Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals in more such initiatives.

His Excellency Jamal Al-Moosawi on this occasion said that The National Museum provided an exceptional experience for people to go through the cultural heritage of the Sultanate along with their COVID-19 vaccination. He expressed satisfaction for joining hands with Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals and taking this national vaccination drive further.

Jacob Oommen expressed thanks to His Excellency Jamal Al-Moosawi, his team at The National Museum and the administrative staff of Badr Al Samaa including Divya Anu, Lincy Kurian, Sreejith SS, for providing untiring support for this drive. He said the contribution of The National Museum in this national vaccination drive will always be acknowledged and cherished.

K O Devassy said that proper scheduling and support from companies and corporate helped Badr Al Samaa to efficiently manage the place and resource and ensured majority of the employees are covered in shorter span of time. He appreciated the marketing, administrative team and staff of The National Museum for creating synergies for the smooth functioning of the drive. He thanked all corporate and companies for their support.

Badr Al Samaa Group of Hospitals took the lead and has already vaccinated more than two hundred eighty thousand (2, 80,000) COVID-19 vaccinations till now, maximum in the private health sector of Oman.
