MUSCAT – Omani painter Anwar Khamis Al Zadjali and poet Hassan Obaid Al Matroushi were awarded by the ministry of culture, sports and youth (MCSY) for their exemplary work in the arena of visual and literary arts, respectively.
Honouring Omani talents
The awards come as part of the ministry’s endeavour to honour Omani talents in Oman and abroad in the intellectual, literary and artistic fields, reports said.
Cultural role models
The endeavour also includes presenting them as cultural role models for future generations.
