
SALALAH — Almarai is participating in the Work Forum 2026 in Salalah as a main sponsor. The event is held in Salalah until August 13, 2026, and organised by the Omani Ministry of Labour under the auspices of Sheikh Salim Mustahail Al Maashani, Advisor at the Diwan of Royal Court.
The forum brought together prominent regional and international entities, including the Executive Bureau of the Council of Ministers of Labour, the Council of Social Affairs of the GCC Countries, the Arab Labour Organisation, and the Arab Organisation for Administrative Development.
The forum serves as a leading regional platform, bringing together distinguished national and international institutions to advance labor regulations and policies, strengthen cross-border cooperation, and support workforce development and human capital growth.
Almarai was represented at the forum by Fawaz Al Jasser, CEO of Almarai Company, and Mohammed Alyahya, EVP of Shared Services, who held discussions about workforce development and deepen institutional dialogue between the public and private sectors. In addition, Aljasser met Khalid bin Salem Al Ghammari, Undersecretary for Labour Affairs at the Ministry of Labor of the Sultanate of Oman, where they discussed several matters of mutual interest.
