MUSCAT – The Royal Grammar School (RGS Guildford) announced its partnership with Sama Educational Company (Sama) a leading education company in the Gulf, to launch one of the most prestigious independent British curriculum schools in Oman, with a cutting-edge campus, set to open its doors in Muscat in September 2023.
RGS Guildford, Muscat unveiled its plans at a VIP launch event at Al Bustan Palace Hotel. Set to transform Muscat’s educational landscape, RGS Guildford, Muscat has been founded with the 500 years of tradition, heritage, and British academic excellence that the school is renowned for in the UK, coupled with Sama’s regional expertise in developing excellent schools and nurseries across the GCC. The school will provide an outstanding British education that is based on the traditional values of decency and respect of RGS Guildford whilst also reflecting the cultural values of Oman, which will play a prominent role in the school’s approach to learning and teaching.

Located in Al Khoud, Al Seeb, Muscat, this inspiring new home of learning will provide children in Muscat with access to a bespoke curriculum that has been developed by RGS Guildford, Sama for the unique context of Oman, and that meets the demands of a global third-millennium British school. Not only will the curriculum cater to the educational needs of local and international communities, but it has also been designed to develop the next generation of Omani and international leaders who are inspired to become active contributors to the Omani, regional, and global communities.
