Your thoughts on this.

How would you view the growth and advancement of Omani women in the last many years? What would you like to say about that?
In recent years, Omani women have achieved remarkable growth and advancement in numerous sectors, signalling a significant transformation in their roles within society. Increased investment in education and vocational training has equipped women with the skills needed to excel in any profession under the sun, leading to their growing presence in previously traditionally male-dominated fields. Additionally, supportive government policies and initiatives aimed at gender equality have created an environment that fosters entrepreneurship and leadership among women.
We now see female representation in entities such as the State Council, and Shura Council. This representation not only empowers individual women but also enriches the national narrative, as Omani women take on influential positions that drive innovation and contribute to the country’s overall progress.
I can confidently say that I have witnessed this transformation first-hand, and I am tremendously proud to be part of this on-going stride, and hopefully the new generations will continue to be that voice of change.
Also, with regards to the advancement, would you say that today the Omani woman is on par with any other woman of the world? If not, what more should be done?
