
MUSCAT – The third batch of the Manahil Alizz internship programme recently presented their graduation projects. The projects had to showcase added value in process enhancement, applicability, sustainability and the potential to make a significant impact. An esteemed judging panel lead by members of the executive management team of the bank then evaluated the presentations across 13 competencies to determine the winning project proposal.
This year’s edition of the programme consists of 50 male and female students from various universities and colleges across the Sultanate of Oman. This brings the number of participants in the Manahil Alizz Internship Programme to over 100 talented Omani students.
The selection process involved nominations from their respective academic institutions, while Alizz Islamic bank has meticulously prepared a suitable framework, comprehensive curriculum and high-level classes and sessions to enhance their educational skills using the latest modern techniques. This approach ensures that knowledge is accessible to all students, obtained flexibly and easily equips them to understand the corporate working environment, banking sector characteristics and fostering innovative thinking that enables them to become decision-makers and effective initiators in addressing key industry needs.
The programme is designed to empower and prepare third year university and college students and augment their capabilities by equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge required to successfully enter and thrive in the job market saw great success in it’s previous two editions; with the participants expressing gratitude to being part of such and an enriching program that not only aims to enhance their leadership, personal development and project management skills but also teach them how to overcome challenges in the business sector and find suitable solutions.
