
MUSCAT – More than 8,600 Omani citizens have registered for the two-day “Together Forward” Forum organised by the Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers, scheduled to be held next month on February 8-9 respectively.
The forum aims to consolidate the principle of community partnership in decision-making, has recorded registration of around 68 percent male and 32 percent female members for its fourth edition, the spokesperson said.
Registration statistics show that 46 percent of those who registered to the forum are holding Bachelor’s degree, while 41 percent are from the public sector.
The Secretariat General of the Council of Ministers will conduct a sorting process for those registered to the forum. The sorting process will be based on specific criteria that ensures balanced representation of all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. It will also reflect professional categories, academic levels and social diversity, spokesperson added.
