MUSCAT – Activities of the Future of Higher Education Institutions Forum kicked off today at the headquarters of the Royal Academy for Management (RAM).
The two-day forum aims to groom and empower national competencies and comes in line with Oman’s future vision and its priorities and national targets.
Moreover, the forum is organized by RAM in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
As many as 8 discussion panels will be held during the forum to discuss the role of higher education institutions in boosting national competitiveness and innovation. It also highlights developments in the higher education sector and possible areas for development to keep pace with international trends.
Enhancing partnership between public and private educational institutions is discussed during the event, in addition to means of devising new visions that augment innovation and entrepreneurship and stimulate economic development.
The Future of Higher Education Institutions Forum is participated by presidents of universities, deans of public and private colleges and representatives from national and international public and private sector organisations.
