MUSCAT — Bank Nizwa in collaboration with Zappit, a financial technology company, has launched the Tranna app. The app enables instant transfers to six countries, including India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal, the Philippines, and Bangladesh. The Tranna app is specifically designed for expatriates in Oman, enabling them to send funds internationally within seconds. This launch represents a significant milestone in the nation’s financial landscape, as the app provides competitive exchange rates for all available countries and a user-friendly interface designed to empower users to send money with ease.
Tranna’s services are currently available for transfers to six countries, with plans to expand to more than 30 countries soon – broadening its reach and offering greater convenience for residents. Developed on an advanced digital infrastructure, the app demonstrates Bank Nizwa’s capability to deliver innovative, user-friendly, efficient, and secure technological solutions.
