MARCH —Bank Nizwa launched its Ramadan campaign under the theme ‘A Connection That Lasts’. Inspired by the values of connection and giving, the campaign reflects Bank Nizwa’s commitment to enhancing its community presence beyond banking transactions, and creating a meaningful, lasting impact. It further reinforces a sustainable culture of solidarity and compassion that defines the holy month.
Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Mohamed AlGhassani, Chief Retail Banking Officer, said: “The ‘A Connection That Lasts’ campaign embodies our belief that true connection with our stakeholders – including customers, the local community, partners, and employees – is built on the values of gratitude, giving, and shared responsibility. Through this campaign, we aim to establish sustainable bonds that reflect the spirit and objectives of the initiative, leaving a positive impact that grows over time and strengthens a culture of cooperation and solidarity within the community. For us, connection is not a temporary initiative, but a continuous commitment to creating lasting impact. As with our previous Ramadan campaigns, the focus goes beyond promotions to include community and humanitarian initiatives that reflect the spirit of the Holy Month.”
Beyond its core banking services, and as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships, the bank officially launched the first waqf crowdfunding platform in collaboration with Bosher Waqf Foundation and the Wadi’ah Platform. This pioneering initiative aims to institutionalize sustainable charitable giving and provide the community with structured, secure, and reliable digital channels to contribute to endowment-based initiatives. The platform reflects the bank’s broader vision of leveraging innovation to support social development and enhance long-term community impact. In parallel, the bank continues its close collaboration with the Zakat Committee under the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to promote the zakat accounts available through the bank. This effort ensures that zakat contributions are directed through officially recognized channels, reinforcing transparency, governance, and the effective delivery of funds to eligible beneficiaries.
