MUSCAT – To honour the Sultanate’s Armed forces, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and health personnel, Alizz Islamic Bank has announced the provision of special finance facilities for them towards the purchase and construction of homes or to buy a land. The offer comes as tribute by the bank to these customers for their unrelenting commitment to the community while battling against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The promotion coincides with the bank’s campaign to commemorate the 50th National Day.
Among the benefits that the Armed Forces, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) and Ministry of Health employees will receive when applying for real estate financing, whether it is to build a house, buy ready-made property, or buy land, is to enjoy a special reduced profit rate of 5.25 percent. They will also be exempted from transaction fees and offered easy and flexible procedures. All they need to do is submit simple documents to complete the financing process by going to their nearest Alizz Islamic Bank branch. The Bank also announced an additional offer to all bank customers who wish to avail new finance with a moratorium period of four months from September until the end of December, with a profit rate of 5.95 percent. The Bank also affirmed through its third offer for its customers which extends an exemption from transaction fees and a reduced profit rate of 5.75 percent when applying for finance to buy a ready-made property or build a property or buy a land through diminishing musharaka financing.

The role of these professionals in fighting the coronavirus pandemic and keeping us safe is nothing short of heroic.
