MUSCAT— Bank Muscat successfully concluded the Khareef Portal activities held at the Mall of Oman in Muscat and Uptown Salalah, drawing large crowds and generating strong engagement among visitors and customers. The activities featured a diverse range of interactive experiences, entertainment, and exclusive banking offers. They also provided an innovative platform for strengthening community connections and bringing visitors in Muscat and Salalah together, while showcasing the tourism, natural and cultural attractions that make Dhofar a distinctive destination during the Khareef season.

The innovative interactive experience offered through the “Khareef Portal” screens in the two cities enabled visitors to communicate and interact with each other in real time. The experience brought the atmosphere of Khareef Dhofar to visitors in Muscat in a unique and engaging way. It attracted considerable interest from people of all ages, particularly families and children, who enjoyed taking part in digital experiences, competitions and accompanying entertainment activities.

The activities also provided an opportunity for visitors to learn more about Bank Muscat’s banking solutions and exclusive offers. The Bank’s respective team was on hand to introduce visitors to its range of banking products and services, answer their questions, and explain the benefits and special promotions launched to coincide with the Khareef season. These included the Bank Muscat Rewards programme, which enables customers to earn double reward points when using their Bank Muscat credit cards at restaurants and cafés in Dhofar Governorate until 31 August 2026. The Bank is also continuing to offer customers the opportunity to enter a prize draw to win valuable prizes, including an Apple Watch or iPhone, when they apply for a new credit card and meet the specified spending requirements.
This offer is valid until September 30, 2026. The Bank’s electric vehicle financing offer also attracted considerable interest from visitors. The offer features a reduced interest rate, a special “Khareef Dhofar” vehicle number plate issued in cooperation with the Royal Oman Police, and a waiver of the first-year credit card fee when customers apply for financing for an electric vehicle. The offer is available until 15th of September 2026 and forms part of the Bank’s efforts to encourage the adoption of sustainable mobility solutions and support Oman’s national sustainability priorities.

Several visitors and winners in the raffle draw expressed their delight with the experience and their interaction with the “Khareef Portal.” Sarah Abu-Bakr Al Balushi, one of the winners of the cash prize draw, said that the Khareef Portal experience was one of the most memorable surprises of the event.
