MUSCAT — In a transformative step toward expanding patient-centered healthcare across the Sultanate, Muscat Private Hospital (MPH) and Premier Point Home Health (Shifaouk) have entered into a strategic partnership designed to deliver advanced medical services directly to patients’ homes. The signing ceremony, held at MPH, was officiated by Hassan Al Lawati, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MPH, and Muntasar Zakhariya Alomairi, CEO Premier Point, in the presence of senior leadership from both organisations.
Hassan Al Lawati emphasised that this partnership represents a pivotal shift in how Muscat Private Hospital approaches healthcare delivery. “By combining MPH’s robust infrastructure and clinical expertise with Premier Point’s specialised home health capabilities, we are establishing a seamless continuum of care that is both accessible and compassionate,” he stated.
“This collaboration takes MPH to a different level by providing essential post-discharge care directly in the comfort of our patients’ homes. This includes skilled nursing care, physical therapy, and addressing any other medical requirements, especially for long-term bedridden patients and elderly individuals. With homecare services easily accessible, we can profoundly improve the quality of life for these patients, enabling them to receive care in a familiar environment,” he added.
Al Lawati also highlighted the positive impact of this partnership on patient recovery. “Research has shown that patients who receive care at home often experience faster recovery times and reduced anxiety. This not only benefits their health but also alleviates the financial burden on their families, who may struggle with the costs and logistics of hospital stays.”
Echoing this vision, Muntasar Zakhariya Alomairi noted, “The signing of this agreement with MPH aims to strengthen our collaboration in providing comprehensive healthcare services through our medical staff and specialists. This includes delivering primary and therapeutic care in the homes of our patients, administering intravenous injections, preparing medications in our compounding pharmacy, and offering various other essential services.”
The event was attended by key members of MPH’s leadership team, including Dr Raymond, Medical Director; Rajendar, Finance Director; Madhu Ramaiah, Operations Manager; and Vijay, Marketing Manager.
