MUSCAT – The Ministry of Health has activated the Emergency Management Center and the Medical Response and Public Health Sector following the shooting incident that took place last night (Monday, July 15, 2024) in Al Wadi Al Kabir area in Muscat Governorate.
The center said that the ministry, through its health institutions and crews, began dealing with the incident in partnership with the University Medical City, the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, and private health institutions.
The center indicated that Khawla Hospital, which was designated as a center for receiving injuries, was backed by specialized medical teams from the Royal Hospital and the University Medical City. More than 50 staff representing specialised medical teams were called to deal with injuries.
